Gory Tone Poem

RATE: 0 Flag
I've never watched Dario Argento's "Suspiria" (1977), and am about 20 minutes into it.  I might hate it or I may grow to love it.
Looks like it's a tone poem. I call it a tone poem (maybe that's not the right term), because much like one of my favorite films, "Exorcist II The Heretic", it's a string of weird, spacey characters and scenes with jarring liturgical music (the difference being that the music in "Heretic" was vastly superior). It's bloody and gross, too, but Dario Argento has long had a reputation for that.
It's also a witchcraft satanism movie, and I think we're poised for two coming up this month - "Season of the Witch" and "Rite".
