 ATOM AGE VAMPIRE

Happy Saturday!  What could be better than a public domain horror movie?
And this one is representative of the 1950's atomic horror craze, where radiation was the devil and the nation was ducking and covering in the hopes of surviving a nuclear holocaust. The "What We're Afraid Of" is right in front of your nose in this one, in fact, in most 1950's era horror/scifi.
Even better: there's no actual vampire in Atom Age Vampire (or in Italian, Seddok, l'erede di Satana).
And while we're on the subject of Atomic, enjoy Blondie in a weird post-nuclear wasteland that looks like a lot of fun, except that the radiation has clearly impacted humanity's dancing abilities.

R&R Love Blondie and Debbie Harry is about to make an appearance in Uncle Bill's place in the Interzone in 1951 Tangier. Not sure if there will be any Atomic Vampires. ;-)
Hey jmac, stay tuned for tomorrow's!
looking forward to it... send JME a heads up!
love the retro crazy B stuff
Uh, ok, Jmac, head is up.
I quote my dear mother : "We'll see.''
As for 'What could be better than a public domain horror movie?'
Wellll, for one thing: Going back to the 80s and making subtle changes in the spatiotemporal Flux in order to prevent Islamic hatred for the West, which I daresay has alot to do with the way we dance, maybe?
Like Linda, I too love the retro crazy B stuff, and this one sounds fun. Also like the Blondie/Atomic tie-in. Unfortunately, it says I can't watch the Blondie video up here. :-(
I'm glowing already! You make my day every day...
Hello friends!

jmac - let me know when that happens!!

Linda - glad I could serve it up for you and there is more out there, perfectly legal to view on Youtube!

James - priorities man, priorities! Sure it would be great to get rid of murderous religious fanaticism, but first we must ensure we have awesome horror movies!!! Ha ha

VA - that makes sense - Vevo is pretty tight with their content. Alas.

KC - may you be shielded from radioactivity!
