(Note: I wish I could do a lengthy essay every day, but alas, time doesn't permit. That doesn't preclude an in-depth discussion about the subject in the comments section if you're so inclined!)
I should have done this earlier. Today, a quick post to
remember comedy legend Phyllis Diller and her contributions to
lighthearted spooky Halloween fare.
Here, her memorable guest appearance in 1980's classic TV horror anthology show Tales from the Darkside, as an exorcist on a mission!
And here, from the classic 1967 Rankin/Bass animated Halloween movie
"Mad Monster Party", as the voice of the Monster's Mate, Phyllis
Diller sings "You're Different."

playing Mary Jane was very good, actually. And I have to see that
