Sister Lucretia Dismas: Noir Nun
in
Web of Evil!
(a flash fiction short)

The Internet Mogul, bound on the floor with rope, watched the nun with a mighty axe in hand arc through his servers in a graceful motion.  She had only ruined five of his seventy-eight servers and yet he cried, as though someone had flushed a precious pet alligator down the toilet.  When the axe bit deep into the fifth one, the nun whirled around.  The sputtering sparks of the server illuminated her; her robe and habit billowing beautifully as though living extensions of her will.  She reached into her robes, pulled out a folder and violently threw it at him.  Out spilled pictures, pictures of the Children of the Broadband, Children of the Ethernet, the ones that were WiFi-flicted, their monstrous mutations, their claws, teeth, lobster pincers, marvelous and horrible wonders, some lovely heroes and somehideous trolls with empathy burnt from their brains by the glare of a screen.  The Mogul knew them all, and knew he was their Father, and hadn't cared that they were loose on the world.  The nun took out a cigarette, put it to her lips and put it to an electric spark to light it.  After exhaling a cloud of smoke, she had this to say:
     "Happy Halloween, Fuckerberg."

Didnt know you were religious, man. Cool.
I always behave around nuns, I am not one of those who has some kind of knee jerk desire to be profane or sexually dynamic & flirty
with them like some fellows.
This one made me chuckle... thanks. ;-)
Great flash fiction. That nun had some balls. Good for her!
I dare say that there are some who would like to see the Internet Mogul flushed down the toilet along with the precious pet gator. Children of the Corn—kids’ stuff; Children of the Screen—now that’s horrifying!
Hmm... do I detect an Internet bestseller?????

Excellent flash fiction for all who have an axe to grind! Can't wait to see the short short film....
Hello folks and thank you for your kind words on this garbage!

@James - actually, it's the other way around. I'm not religious (although I am fascinated with it and love to study it), and well, I love nun-sploitation movies :O

Jmac - my pleasure as always. And what this piece would have been, had it been longer, is the development of an idea of "Internet horror" instead of "Atomic Horror" - which relates to Godzilla and to your Kafkaesque lobsterman!!!!

Zanelle - thank you! I like tough determined nuns that aren't afraid of a little 'ultraviolence'

Jerry - exactly my (very poorly executed) point. Thanks for reading!
LOL at her closing remark.
